Overview

This is a six-day Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara private camping safaris. The safari will take you around the best places in Tanzania visiting places such as Lake Manyara which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. You’ll also visit Ngorongoro Crater which is known also as the Garden of Eden, Serengeti National Park, Tarangire National Park and the chance to see great wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River.

Day 1 :

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport in the morning. then take 3 hours driver to Tarangire National Park. You will have a full-day game drive inside this park. Later, you will drive to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The location of Tarangire National Park is 115km from Arusha and covers an area square of 2800km. Wild animals drink water from the Tarangire River where the name Tarangire comes from. The park has major attractions which are a large number of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. Also, you will be able to see lions, leopards and other animals. Your day will end with an overnight stay in Jambo Lodge near Lake Manyara.

Day 2 :

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After having your breakfast, at around 7am your luggage will be loaded in the safari jeep, as you depart you'll experience an en-route game drive to Serengeti with your lunch inside the Jeep. On the way, you will be able to view the beautiful Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater before reaching Serengeti around 3:00 p.m.

You will have a sunset game drive in central Serengeti where you will be able to see the sunset. Afterwards, you will have dinner and an overnight stay at Seronera Campsite inside Serengeti.

The major attractions in Serengeti are the endless plains and the great wildebeest migration which involves herbivores and followers. Predators used to move from one area to another almost all parts of Serengeti because of drought. Our driver guide will make sure you will able to see part of the wildebeest migration.

Your day will end with dinner and an overnight stay inside Serengeti National Park Seronera Campsite.

Day 3 :

Western Serengeti National Park

On this day, you will wake up early and have your full breakfast then you will start your game drive inside Serengeti. As you will have a full day in Serengeti, our driver will drive you to the key areas in Serengeti. We will make sure that you will follow wildebeest migration during your tour with us.

The great wildebeest migration varies every year the best chance of seeing it is from June up to September while the wildebeest calving season is from December to March. A million and a half of these majestic animals travel throughout the year as they look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources. After your full-day game drive, you will head back to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 :

Southern Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

You will wake up at 5:45 a.m. for an early breakfast and see the sunrise inside Serengeti. After you finish your breakfast, you will do an early morning game drive up to 11:30 a.m. Then, you will head back to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack your stuff in the jeep.

This time after finishing your hot lunch, you will proceed with a game drive in Serengeti while heading to Ngorongoro Crater in Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Your day will end with dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Crater Simba Campsite.

Day 5 :

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park

You will wake up around 5:30 a.m. for your breakfast. After breakfast, you will descend the Ngorongoro Crater floor where you will see the Big Five. Also, you will see different types of birds and a variety of animals on the crater floor. On this day, you will have your lunch inside the crater while watching nature and high concentrations of flamingos.

Later after 6 to 7 hours of game drives inside the crater, you will start ascending from the crater passing through the campsite to pack your luggage in the jeep ready to drive back to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

On this day (Optional), you will have a walking tour in one of the villages in Mto wa Mbu, where you will experience how locals live, interact and see banana plantations. You can also taste local food if interested. Your day will end with dinner and an overnight stay in Jambo Lodge.

Day 6 :

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After your breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive inside the park. You will be able to see tree-climbing lions and flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will visit a hot spring. Also, on the same day, you will visit a Maasai Boma where you will see how they live and learn about their culture and traditions. Later, you will drive back to Arusha for your night departure flight either in Arusha/ Kilimanjaro Airport.
